90% of the startups in India close down within 3 years of starting operations. This is because of lack of mentoring and support. Only few startups become successful. This is the harsh truth.

In USA, 20% of new businesses fail within the first two years. 45% of new business startups don't survive the fifth year. 65% of new startups fail during the first ten years. 75% of American startups go out of business during the first 15 years.

In India, According to a study conducted by IBM Institute for Business Value– 91% of startups fail within the first five years and the most common reason is – lack of innovation. Innovation is the most important factor in deciding the success or failure of Indian startups.

There are many reasons why  a start up fail. But most of it can be attributed to lack of funds and meticulous planning. An idea can be ahead of time or behind current time. Most startup companies are good at making better products and services, but they are extremely poor in marketing.

Technical (Software startups)  people in general are poor in marketing and PR. So, their products and services takes time to find the right clients.

Some startups are poor in fund-raising, some are poor in ideas and implementation. So there is a plethora of factors that are responsible for the failure of a startup.

Many startups fail because when things begin to fall apart, they don't take corrective action. A stitch in time can save two in a row. So, after years of hard work, creating products and services, the founders finally see their company closing down, they are back to Zero with huge debts that affect them personally, also break families they belong to.

There are even cases of suicides where people took the extreme step after facing bankruptcy while running a startup.

Always remember that people and markets never respond as per your imagination. Sales may not happen as per your plan and effort, this may cause frustration in future.

What exactly I offer to your startup company ?

Why startups should learn from their failures?

Startups are frequently dangerous endeavors, with the very real prospect of a business failing. It's critical that business owners recognize the value of taking lessons from their mistakes. Although nobody enjoys failing, it may be a terrific way to learn from past mistakes and improve for future success.

Although failure is sometimes viewed as a negative experience, companies can gain important insights by reflecting on their errors. Analyzing the regions where things went wrong can assist entrepreneurs in finding potential fixes and adjusting to modifications in their sector or surroundings. Startups can increase their chances of success and prevent repeating their mistakes in the future by learning from their failures.

Gaining knowledge from mistakes also aids in the development of important industry contacts and resources for entrepreneurs. Although it might be embarrassing, failure can also help businesses get support from other business owners who have gone through similar experiences. Success requires this kind of cooperation, which might lead to new ventures or financial prospects.

Startup failures aren't always a terrible thing; in fact, they're frequently essential stages toward success. Entrepreneurs may improve their decision-making, resilience, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as expand their industry network by learning from their mistakes. Startups can improve their chances of success and build long-lasting companies by adopting this strategy.

The benefits of learning from failure for startups

Startups in the cutthroat business world of today need to be ready for failure at some point. But it's crucial for companies to seize the chance to improve, learn, and advance rather than allowing failure to define them. For entrepreneurs, there are several advantages to learning from failure: resilience building, enhanced problem-solving abilities, and the acquisition of important insights.

Adaptability

The growth of resilience is one of the main advantages of learning from mistakes. Every startup will experience difficulties and roadblocks along the way, therefore it's critical for company owners to have the fortitude needed to go over them. One of the best methods to develop resilience is to learn from failure, as it enables business owners to acknowledge that setbacks are a normal part of the process.

Important Perspectives

Startup entrepreneurs can gain important insights into their company by learning from their mistakes. Entrepreneurs can enhance their operations going forward by analyzing the reasons behind failures, which frequently indicate that something isn't going as intended. This could involve anything from revising customer service procedures or website design to altering marketing tactics or product prices.

In summary, startups must learn from their mistakes. It enables business owners to strengthen their resilience, improve their problem-solving abilities, and obtain insightful knowledge about their industry. Startups may make sure they have the resources necessary to thrive in the cutthroat market of today by viewing failure as a chance to learn and develop.
